At CAM LLP, we believe in a community where everyone has the chance to rebuild and thrive. That is why we are proud to help sponsor the 2026 Brain Care Breakfast – an inspiring morning dedicated to hope, recovery, and action. In addition to helping kick off Brain Injury Awareness Month, the event is the Brain Care Centre’s primary fundraiser for the year. Proceeds raised at the event go towards the delivery of essential services critical to Albertans working to overcome the impact of brain injuries and reconnect with their lives.

The statistics are sobering. According to Brain Injury Canada, traumatic brain injury (TBI) is projected to be one of the most common neurological conditions affecting Canadians by 2031, alongside Alzheimer’s and epilepsy.

This special event celebrates over 60 years of innovation and impact at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital, Alberta’s only dedicated rehabilitation hospital. CAM LLP is delighted to be sponsoring the Cause video portion of the event that highlights Glenrose’s fundraising project for the year.

The Glenrose plays a vital role in our community, welcoming over 100,000 patient visits annually. It provides complex care to individuals of all ages recovering from serious accidents, illnesses, and lifelong conditions. The Glenrose Hospital Foundation 2024 Courage Gala will take place on April 12th, 2024, at the Edmonton Convention Centre. The Glenrose Hospital is the only hospital in Alberta dedicated to rehabilitation. The hospital receives over 100,000 patient visits annually and provides complex care for patients of all ages after a serious accident or illness and to those living with lifelong conditions. The Gala is a key fundraiser that supports this critical work.

The Glenrose Hospital Foundation and CAM LLP believe everyone deserves an opportunity to reclaim their lives and regain their physical and mental well-being regardless of circumstances. Proud to support the Edmonton Public Library and “Ready, Set READ!”

At CAM LLP, we’re proud to support the EPL’s early literacy program, “Ready, Set READ!” in partnership with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Last Friday, October 20, we were inspired and educated at EPL’s fundraising evening featuring the award-winning actor Rainn Wilson (The Office).

EPL’s program is igniting a passion for reading by providing children ages 1 to 5 with new age-appropriate books delivered to their homes every month!

Research has proven that a home filled with books can pave the way for a child’s academic success, transcending barriers of education and background. For example, did you know that children from book-filled homes achieve 3 more years of schooling compared to those from bookless environments? Continue reading
